17 weeks - almost half way! Where is the time going??

ok - I will get some head shots soon, but lately I only seem to think to take these pictures in the morning and you do not want to see my hair in the morning. .. or my morning grimace!!


Since this photo was taken last Tuesday I find that my belly has grown even more! I think that is why I have been so tired this week and I am feeling the stretching pains like all my insides are moving around and making room. Overall it is going well though and the longer I am pregnant the more I am getting used to it. I sometimes forget and then think... what is this stomach all about!!!

One thing that I am so sad about is that I CANT EAT CHOCOLATE!!! eating it makes me sick and I throw up. It is one of a few things that make me feel unwell but this is the most annoying as it is something that I LOVE and it is nearly EASTER!!! I want chocolate bunnies :( I guess this year I miss out.

Anyway I am off to bed, it is way past myh bedtime - but lucky tomorrow is Saturday and I can try to sleep in ... getting closer to that being a potential luxury of the past!

can you believe I turned 30!

I dont know if I managed to post that I turned 30 last November. Well maybe I mentioned it - but here is a picture from the evening of me and mum. It was a great night, but let me point out that when this picture was taken I had been awake since about 3am the night before heading home from Melbourne. WHY I insist on early morning flights I will never know!! I must be insane!

see that champagne.. I have now forgotten what it tastes like!!

an update..

ok - maybe some of you are wondering.. "where are the NZ pictures??" well I have tried on a few occasion to both update you on our trip and show you all some pictures, but since my Morning Sickness was so bad in NZ everytime I look at them or think about the trip I feel sick again!! Odd I know, but I am not alone here. Unfortunately the morning sickness bug still reares its ugly head from time to time.

Friday I had my first hospital appointment and we got to hear the babys heartbeat on the doppler machine. It was amazing - so fast, loud and strong sounding! I cant wait until my next scan so that we can see the baby and find out whether we are having a BOY or a GIRL!! does anyone have thoeries as yet based on my tummy, the early scan, morning sickness etc?? I have so far had a few Boy votes and a few Girl votes.. Personally I dont think that much of mothers intuition as I have NO idea at all!!!

16 Weeks :)

Here it is - a bigger belly then last time!! It is growing and becoming more noticable. I am also starting to feel something that might be movement, but I am not 100% sure yet.

On the weekend I had my latest night up as a pregnant lady. We went to an engagement party on the Gold Coast which turned into a drinking until 3am party.. well I was drinking water :|

Week 15 today!

ok - well I am sure it is bigger this week. I also feel a bit bloated this morning...
Excuse the dodgy bra - but when you get to maternity sizes, bras are no longer cute, pretty, attractive or sexy...

I am mostly over the morning sickness - I know that I keep saying this, but even though I was sick last night I hadnt felt sick since friday which is a good sign!! :)

My Belly... Updates...

Ok - here is my belly at 14 weeks (taken Tuesday 6 March) I know it is not much yet - But I notice the difference and none of my pants fit anymore!!!

Introducing ......

Baby Kroes :) This pic was done at 12 weeks 2 days and we are now at 14 weeks. Little bubs is still making me feel a little "seedy" but we are getting better!

Also on a side note, we have broadband as of tonight - so you will get more updates I promise!!!

Another thing to add is HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Alicia! We just came back from celebrating with big and yummy Deserts at Freestyle in the Valley and whoa I feel full!! :)
