Guess What....

I got a new Job!

I am still working at Suncorp, but I now have a 12 month secondment working in Wealth Management as a Project Officer. I look forward to working in a new area, although I will be so sad to leave some of the wonderful people that I work with.

Although as I am still in the same building and same company I will get to see them all on a regular basis. Plus I can still go for my lunchtime walks with Linda! I just hope that there are many more lovely people in my new job that I get to know.

Will Winter EVER End!

I am sure that it will, but these days I start to think that it will go on and on and on...

As much as I dont mind a cool breeze, I can't stand anything below 25degrees. Funnily enough I do love going to the snow, but that is a holiday - it is not like I live there.

One thing that I dont like about winter in Queensland is the fact that it is so bloody dry all the time. This is the last thing we need with Brisbane water supply at 30% and now Level 3 water restrictions. This means no more hosing at any time of the day, bucket watering only for the plants and also to wash the clothes. If we get down to 25% we will go up to Level 4 water restrictions, but at this stage we dont know what these will be...

So everyone - remember to make sure that your taps aren't dripping and try to have short showers :-) or shower with a Buddy :-)
